Hi Total,

If you attempt to logon with a user that has created a password reset disk
with the wrong password, it should give you the option to reset the password
even from the "Log on to Windows..." UI. A logon failed dialog should pop up
with the buttons "OK" and "Reset...". If you select "Reset..." you should be
able to use your password reset disk.

Once you reset your password and logged on, you can get the welcome screen
back by:

1. Go to the Start menu
2. Select Control Panel
3. Select User Accounts
4. Select Change the way users log on or off
5. Select Use the Welcome Screen (and Use Fast User Switching if you like to
enable that too)
6. Select Apply Options

Sincerely,
-Patrik
