If you boot into Safe Mode on XP Home, the Administrator account can be
logged into with the username Administrator and a blank password, unless
you put a password on it specifically at some point. If I read you
correctly, you put a password on *your* account as the "default
administrator" but not really the Administrator login. So logging in as
THE Administrator, he could elevate the status of his own account.
That's why you've heard me say (I'm pretty sure you have!) that in some
situations you log in as THE Administrator.
