i've been suffering with this since christmas and and at
the risk of offending jeff foxworthy i figure i'll just
start itimizing the things that happen to me with this
computer i bought new on jan 2.
sony digital studio, lovely 1500p4 hugeass harddrive
upgrade to 512k RAM dvd and cd r/w all the retail sony
bells and bundled software whistles and of
course...preinstalled with xp home.
i'm living with a computer that i am not allowed to own.
i've lost root and can't get anyone to...#1: consider that
what i'm saying is true. #2: elevate themselves beyond
their own level of competence so they might actually learn
something as well as help me and #3: yes..simply
help...i cant seem to get anyones attention in order to
eradicate this problem as one by one they have decided it
just couldnt be possible so i should just go away.
anyway..here goes and good luck this may take awhile
remember i;ve been a hostage to a foreign unseen
controller for over 8 months.
i might be hacked if...
i use the installer cd and the printer that came with the
system and yet it will simply deny the installation...this
process can not be completed you must restart your
computer.
i can't install it i cant use it.
i had it installed back in february but was unable to put
a check mark in the box to deny sharing as that box was
simply grey'd out and not sharing wasnt available option
to me..
as is file and folder sharing..i keep hearing and reading
about how to deny it but its simply not accessable on my
machine i have to believe what i'm seeing on my monitor
is what they have as a remote console...
i might be hacked if....
there isn/t one single file on the whole computer that is
still digitally signed not one...
i might be hacked if...i've used the proprietary restore
cds to restore over 50 times with full format and
partitions putting it back ostensibly to factory condition
where in reality i'm simply restoring it to the secure
condition that have been installed and are administerd
remotely by someone besides me.
i might be hacked if everytime i download a security patch
or hotfix from the microsoft secure site i get an instant
error message saying they can't confirm that file cause it
has a time stamp and cant verify its authenticity...
nice of them to warn me but it would be nicer if i could
download anything that doesnt get corrupted between my
temp directory and the hard drive.
there is more o believe there is more i'll back off for a
bit and see what kind of interest this attracts...
anyone interested in forensic examination of this
operating system should email me and convince me you know
more than i've learned in 8 months maybe even some hope
that i might cling to.
thanks all
