I backed up some of my files last night, and reinstalled
windows xp pro. when i restored my files, at first i ran
into problems because i forgot to clear the "restore
security settings" box in the advanced options for the
restore wizard.
now that that's fixed, i ran into another problem. one
of that folder's subfolders is encrypted. since i only
backed up the documents folder, i dont have the original
certificate with the encryption permissions. is there a
way to disable the encryption or create a new certificate
that will allow me to access the files?
