Here's what I've learned so far. You can use the WinXP CD to boot to a command
console. Then I'm told, you can use the DOS version of F-Prot to do a virus
scan. I haven't tried it yet, but if it works, this seems like a reasonable
procedure for booting up clean to perform a virus check.
