I have lost All my Shared Folder Files

I up graded from Windows XP Home Edition to Proffessional
today and instantly lost all my files in a shared folder.
All other files are still in there locations... is this a
bug or what, I am due to present these files at a forum
Next week and CANT show without these files....

What can I do???? I will be dead if I dont find them!!!!!
