Hi Suz
Suz said "I am still getting viruses through my email even though I have
security at medium and NAV installed"
--I'm assuming your using Outlook Express. First thing I would do is go into
tools>options>security tab> put a check beside Restricted sites zone(more
secure).
Secondly below that put a check beside "do not allow attachements to be
saved or opened that coulod potentially be a virus" Yes you not be able to
open some "legit" attachements, but no attachement is worth a virus.
Thirdly-You can go to this site http://www.jasons-toolbox.com/default.asp
and click on "test my email defenses". Do it before you make the above
changes and after to see if it makes a difference. If you do not fail the
test, then you have to be more cautious when opening attachements. This test
is safe and is from a reputable site.
Hope this helps!
Cheers!
