No matter what i try i can't seem to allow website
visitors to download .exe from my IIS server via HTTP.
The vistor recives a 404 error when attempting to
download a .exe file, when the file is present and can be
seen in a directory listing. Can anyone offer a solution.
As far as i can tell this is the only tye of file
effected, other files such as imgaes can do viewed with
no problems. the annoymous web user account does have
read and execute access to the directory in question, as
setup for the folder on the HDD. Any ideas how to fix?
The problem is not localised to one directory, but
happens wherever the file is placed.

Thanks,

Paul Woodhouse
