Hi Peoples. My Windows XP on my other computer crashed
after a power outage. I had a lot of files on my computer
I still wanted. When ever I go to load up Windows, it
goes to the loading screen, loads, and than restarts
itself. So I went to try and repair it. And it would
restart itself durning the repair. Hmmm. So I took and
installed Windows XP on my D Drive. Now I have two
Windows XP's on my computer. Here's the problem. I want
to get my old files from my old users so I can back them
up, and that restore my whole computer. But, on one of my
older, and the most important user names, I have the
folder security on. So that any other user on the
computer couldn't acess them. Well, I need to get into
those files, and it wont let me because of the settings.
And I can't get into that user, becuase it's on my old
Windows XP, which is messed up. So, doesn't anyone know a
way around those settings, a way to change them remotly,
or, a way to transfer the old user from one Windows, to
the other. Any email support would be welcome. Thank you.
