I have 3 XP Pro workstations on my network.
The users of these workstations needed to have more
priviledges beyond a power-user so I upgraded them to
administrators.
Even though they are listed as administrators, they still
keep getting the security pop-ups when they try to install
programs. They also can't run any of the administrator
functions and applets on the workstation unless they use
the "Run As" option.
I've tried deleting their accounts, and re-create then as
a new-user with Administrator rights, but they still don't
seem to get any of the workstation administrator
priviledges.
The only administrator on the user list that seems to have
full priviledges is the one that says "built in account"
in the properties description field.
I've also looked through the default group policy, but
can't find anything obviously wrong.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
