windows XP help!!! i locked the "Documents & settings" Folder for good

After installing a fresh copy of windows XP (not upgrade)i could not
access the "Documents & settings/adrian" folder where all my documents
are stored.

A friend of mine told me is was because of the NTFS security. The
interesting thing is that only this folder was locked. I keep getting
an "access deniad" error message for all folders and subfolders, even
when i log-in as administrator.

I have also kept the same old password but i still cannot open the
folder. please help.
