You can only disable simple file sharing in Windows XP Professional Edition.
In Home Edition you can start your computer in the safe mode and log on as
an administrator. Next right-click on the folder that you don't other users
to have access to and choose properties. Click on the Security Tab, you can
set the permissions from here.
