For example, I am logged into XP Pro as a normal user account, and I launch
a privileged cmd.exe process as administrator like:
runas /u:administrator cmd.exe
Then I work inside this privileged cmd.exe. I am running windump from the
command line, and want to kill the process and return to the command line,
but Ctrl + C does not work. It's true for any program I run, be it netstat,
gpresult, tree, or even ping. Now get this, Ctrl + C does seem to work when
I am just sitting at a command prompt with no program running.
I have no problems with normal command shells that are not launched via
runas. This appears to be a bug as it can be reproduced, try it yourself.
