Does Win Xp home edition have the same basic security regarding user
accounts as XP PRO when it comes to installing new software on a XP home
machine.
In Xp pro I understand you have to login using an account with administrator
privileges or at least be defined as a power user (much like on NT or W2K)
in order to be able to install a program. Does the same requirement exist in
WXP home edition or is the security more like the W9X model where anyone can
install software?
Thanks for any help.
