Great. I got someone who had the same problem with using
Windows XP as me. I am appreciate what Roger had provided.
However, Roger seemed not to really understand what the
problem is.
It's easy to share file or directory with someone in
another PC via network. You just have to set the password
in your own PC then someone else can access your shared
files/dirs via network when his password is correct.
In NT family, someone else from network should have an
account and password on the shared PC to access the shared
files/dirs unless the guest account is opened on the
shared PC.
However, Windows XP home edition seems not to provide
neither the solution in Windows 98 nor that in NT family.
If you want to share your files, you just have to set the
sharing flag on. You can changed the shared name but it
won't change your file/dirs. However, YOU CAN'T MODIFILED
SECURITY OPTION BECAUSE THERE'S NO SECURITY OPTION ABOUT
FILES/DIRS SHARING IN WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION. What's the
problem?
