Thanks for the help ...I hate to sound dumb but I've not heard of the
gpedit.msc snap-in.
I am however using XP Pro.
I am also a little confused when you say "Turn Off" Simple File Sharing.
Because the option is there under Local Sharing and Security to make it a
shared document. I asumed that ment that it wasn't already , but good ol'
Microsoft has to make things confusing, it doesn't seem to matter anyone can
access the folder because it's not under a user's profile and on the root of
the drive.
The option to make the folder is grayed out and not able to select it.
