XP home and limited accounts probelm

All,
In the last few motnths I set up XP home with
2 admin accounts and two limited accounts. All
was well until a few days ago. Now when one tries
to log into the limited accounts, there are
a number of problems.
1) Some programs run verrrry slowly.
2) Windows explorer will not run at all. It aborts
most of the time.
3) The Start Menu can get hung up. It comes up, but
the progam menu goes completely blank and hangs there.
4) One cannot log off the limited account as Explorer
aborts and restarts. It is necessary to use Task
Manager to log off a limited account.
5) My McAfee VS 6.0 complains about missing files. which
are not missing.
If the account is changed to an admin account everything
Works fine. Any insights or suggestions would be welcome.
