Re: trouble adding to Restricted sites in IE Options (fixed)

I have kept the two saved registry trees with the idea of seeing what is different but my knowledge of the entries is pretty limited. If anyone is interested in comparing them I could attach them.

Having created the testing account, and that account worked, I saved the registry entries starting from
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Internet settings from the working account

then I deleted the same node from my non-working account

then I restored the registry settings in my account from the saved reg file saved from the working test account.

So far everything is looking fine, I can add to the restricted list without problem.

That's great you were able to fix it, but too bad we don't know what the cause was!
