Re: Anti virus application turns off

I had Norton on my computer, afew days ago it turned off and I was unable to
turn it on again. I removed it and installed Windows One Care, same thing
happened. I turned on Windows defender and that turned off.
I've now got McAfee installed, but I'm expecting the same to happen. I've
run virus scans with all the above, but the problem regenerates itself.

cananyone help me on this ?


How do you determine that they are "off"? Are you looking in the security center or is the application itself indicating that it's disabled (tray icon has a red X in it or something similar)?
