Re: after malware removal computer is slow

Try this if youre in the US / CANADA

1-866 727 2338 ( that’s Microsoft Security )

also Pcsafety as far as I know can proceed with your final cleanup concerns since there are / has been significant change in the systems
performance after clean up. as you indicated was there any malware / spyware detected by both Onecare ( or previous Windows Defender ).

to: engel, thanks for your suggestion but the link you provided is no longer
available and microsoft support(posts)does not have any info on actually
recovering after removal of malware, at least i couldnt find any and to:
straight talk , i guess i never did verify my comp.is clean now because i
dont know how, where can i find instructions on how to make sure my computer
is clean? i though by running one care and stopzilla together along with
windows defender it would be sufficient, but my computer is definetly acting
weird and i would like to know how to" flatten and rebuild" thank you all so
much

How did you verify that your computer is actually clean?

You need to revert to a known clean state. If you have no other ways
of achieving this, it ultimately means flatten and rebuild.

Then you need to implement a security concept for the future in order
to keep malware out instead of relying on removal tools.
