Re: RDP on Windows 2008 Server

Hello Cindy,

Never heard about and used RDP without enabled firewall without problem. Did you test it yourself or only heard a rumour?

Best regards

I have been told "no firewall service=no RDP" in Windows 2008. Does
this mean the windows firewall has to be turned on to enable RDP?

Also is the "Increase quotas" right still necessary local service to
have firewall enabled?
