That's where I checked first and did not see anything about a reboot.
The specific update is Microsoft Security Bulletin MS09-001. If I
understand you correctly if the bulletin does not mention a reboot it
most likely will not call for one.

If you check the belonging KB article it should be mentioned there.
The reboot is needed for files that are in use and will be only free
for the updatewhen the machine will be rebooted.

How can I tell if a security update will ask me to reboot my server?
I have my system set to automatically download the update but not
install until I get a chance to ok them. My office is a 7am to
11:30 pm shop so there really nerve is a good time to reboot.
