Hello tdubb,
You subnet mask does not fit with the ip addresses. With that subnet mask,
only the last number can be different.
Client use 10.16.65.x which it can not reach by default or i s it
connected via the router? ANyway internaly it has to use 10.16.67.x for
DNS and WINS first.
Server use also no internal DNS, are the other DNS/WINS address behind the
router?
Please describe this ip settings more detailed.
Best regards
Meinolf Weber

I cant really tell exactly what the setup is. I know they told me it
was working before and stopped working. It was not cloned. I just
know the dns and wins servers are on the dcs. 2 dcs. other machines
are working fine. meaning from the client I can map to other servers
on the same domain/network.
From other clients I can map to this server also. Its just that this
client cannot map to this server.

Hello tdubb,
Please describe your DNS setup and also post an unedited ipconfig
/all from both machines. Did you clone one server without running
sysprep?
Best regards

I cannot map a drive from one server to another.
start \\x.x.x.x\c$ will work
but start \\netbiosname\c$ will fail and giove me an error
on the client server trying to make a mapping to the remote server
I get this in event log
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Kerberos
Event Category: None
Event ID: 4
Date: 3/19/2008
Time: 1:39:16 PM
User: N/A
Computer: xxxxxxxxxxx
Description:
The kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the
server
host/xxxxxxxx.domain.com. The target name used was
cifs/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
This indicates that the password used to encrypt the kerberos
service
ticket
is different than that on the target server. Commonly, this is due
to
identically named machine accounts in the target realm
(xxxxxxxxx),
and the
client realm. Please contact your system administrator.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Also when trying to map to it
start \\netbiosname\c$
gives this error
\\server is not accessible. you might not have permission to use
this netowrk resouce. contact the adminitrator of this server to
find out if you have access permissions.
Logon Failure: The target account name is incorrect
