This is a different problem than stephen has posted...
I am trying to get those remote performance counters to work in a
software that uses a similar api to that of perfmon (start > run >
perfmon)?except it has something called IPC$ (IPC share as opposed to
admin share), and this supposedly allows me to remotely access those
counters but not have full admin rights.
Well this works fine if it?s a local user but if it?s a domain user,
then I can?t pull those counters.
Any idea what?s involved when I create a domain user that is a member
of the ?Performance Monitor Group? ?
Is there a tool out there that can help me pinpoint why I can?t connect
or is there a registry key that I need read rights to ?
Thanks!
