Hi Olaf,
Thanks for trying to help me! I really appreciate that!
Output of cacls:
D:\Andrey\Netcat>cacls nc.exe
D:\Andrey\Netcat\nc.exe BUILTIN\Administrators:F
NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM:F
BUILTIN\Users:F
and as you can see it's not a system/reserved name. And yes, i did reboot; also i ran Unlocker to see if for any reason this file is locked by any process and it's not.
Was able to delete from cmd, but it doesn't solve the problem though: i have couple more files like that and those I need to use, so i can't delete them... any suggestions?

I'm running a Win2003 R2 server with AD (at home for file sharing);did you try already a reboot?
yesterday i decided to do a backup by just copying the D: drive onto
a 1 TB external drive. On one file it gave "Access denied" error and
so far I can't find a way to get rid of it:
1. I'm running as a user with admin rights, but still i changed
ownership of the file to myself - didnt help;
2. I checked if file is locked by a process (which would be weird as
this file is not used - it's a part of an old archive) - none.
3. I ran couple of different antiviruses overnight - none
4. Ran chkdsk - didn't find any problems
I need to note that problem exists if i try to do anything with the
file, even just renaming it.
Does the file have a specific (reserved) name or wird characters in the name?
Can you access it from cmd prompt? (Sometimes only the Windows explorer is unable ...)
What is the output of cacls for that file?
Anything in the event log?
Best greetings from Germany
Olaf
