Hello,
You can recover a password for your customer. Locate a recent backup
of the Win2003 system state. Restore the files from "C:\Windows
\repair" and "C:\Windows\system32\config" folders on a different
computer. Restore these to an alternate location and be careful not to
overwrite the computer's local files.
Download the Cain & Abel tool and install it on this second computer.
Run the password hash collection wizard. Select to "Import Hashes from
a Sam database." Point the tool at the Win2003 Sam file you restored.
Let it run.
This will take quite a while but should eventually recover the
password.

Dear All,
a customer of mine have a WIN 2003 Small Business Server and he has
forgotten administrator password and doesn't have an equivalent priviledge

Please, could anyone give me any ideas to resetting password avoiding
complete re-installation?
