Re: how can I make money off my ultimate security solution for servers

You can do one of several things

1. Go to venture capitalists and try to convince them to give you money to set up a real live corporation and do the dev/marketing with that money and company's sales staff.

2. You can set up a web site and sell the software as some sort of shareware solution. If your solution really is this amazing, I expect you will blow Winzip and thousands of other large applications that started out this way.

3. You can go to a company that specializes in security or Windows infrastructure apps and try to sell the idea to them. Get NDA agreements signed with them when you show it off so they can't run off with your idea.

4. Go to Microsoft and sell the idea to them, it is there OS and you are claiming that you can make it bullet proof where none of their billions of R&D dollars can't.

Not to throw too much cold water on you, but I expect you don't have what you think you have. You might have something but the likelihood or odds of you having the panacea of Windows security isn't very promising given the billions spent on R&D for it from so many different companies. I know another guy who basically thought he had the answer to the world's security issues well at least a smaller part than you say you have an answer to and here we are a couple of years later and he still hasn't put anything useful out the door.

Regardless, good luck.

I want to sell a security solution that I have designed, it makes a server completely immune to viruses, security vulnerabilities, hackers and it fixes 100% percent of the current security problems with windows operating systems. I fully expect that in a few years every important server in the world will be using some variation of my design.

This is not just my opinion, I have shared this design with my friends who are network admins and IT professionals and they have spent weeks trying find some flaw in my system. All of them agree, this is truely a awesome security solution.

I am a computer geek and I don't know the first thing about business, now that I have a awesome security solution, I don't know what to do with it. I only know that I want to make some serious money. If someone can help me cash-in on this, I would gladly share some of the profits.

I have been working as an IT specialist and a government contractor for 12 years. In my free time I have designed a bullet-proof solution that makes a windows server completely unhackable. This solution uses off-the-shelf software and will run on any modern system.

Just imagine how much money the federal government could save by never having to patch servers, purchase anti-virus, or maintain servers in any way ever again. My design basically turns a windows server into a network appliance.

Thanks!
