I have a requiremen in which immediately after successful login
adminstraor gets the messages which gives him Number of Unsuccessful
attempts made by administrator before he has successfully logged in.
and it also gives location of the workstation from which he has last
time logged in.
Here i am not using any active directory or LDAP so i am not able to
user BadPwdCount variable. i have tried to parse to Security logs but
it give me all unsuccessful login attempts not between last and
current login.
If there is way to log unsuccessful login attempts in text file. that
eachn time i can count number of line in text file. i can create
seperate text file for each user.
For the workstation is there way to resolve IPs. All administrators
are using terminal sevices.
I am working in windows 2000 Advance server environment.
