On the other hand UNINSTALLING F&P (you select it and click "Uninstall")
does indeed remove Server and Workstation services.

But thanks for that info, which I, for some reason, had never
observed (perhaps I do not have the luxury, needing to thread
backup access through the eye of an IPsec needle most everywhere).


This is one of first security measures I use on many of my servers (in
addition to NetBIOS device removal and other items that render these
systems
vulnerable to many attacks).
