Do you by chance have the W2k3 firewall enabled, and without an
exception defined for the service or its port ?

Hello Newsgroup,
I have an new Windows 2003 Enterprise Server, english with Service Pack
1.
Also I have an Service for WLAn Scanners to connect to an application.
The TCP-Port for the connection is 30001.
And now my question:
Under Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP2 all Scanners can connect to the
service.
But under Windows 2003 they can't connect.
Can anyone tell me, what I have to do, so that all clients can connect
to the new server ?
Thank you.
Andreas Vogts
