Yes they should be identical , First off all I am assuming your partitions
are NTFS.
You may have problem with FRS, I recommend you examine NtFrs log files in
the %Systemroot%\Debug folder and Application Events.

Hello Everyone
Have a quick question. We have 1 dfs tree with about 100 links. Each
link points to server A\share and serverB\share. Server A\share was
the original content. I created the link to serverB\share and let all
the data from serverA\share1 replicate to serverB\share1. Why do the
folders on ServerB\share1 have only all users permissions, but the data
on serverA\share1 has all sorts of different permissions...shouldn't
they be identical?
thanks!
Jennifer
