my ftp must return "connection closed by remote host" when windows firewall
opened, i checked the ftp server on the firewall list but still no luck...
any one can help... very urgent... Thanks.
P.S.: it will be normal after windows firewall disabled.
LAN drive ... I bought a lan drive with FTP / SMB server. ... the FTP server works fine and I can reach it writing the IP address in Internet Explorer.... What I can't do is reach the FTP server using the host name nor browsing the hard drive via 'network resources'. ...Windows firewall is disabled and I haven't any other firewall enabled ... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web)

FTP connection ... I have been trying to connect to my ftp server through IE and receive this ... message " An error occurred opening that folder on the ftp server. ... Both my XP pro machines give me the same ... the Windows firewall.... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.accessibility)
