dcom security settings trouble

hello everyone; here's my situation

I had installed a service on Windows XP Pro Sp2 succesfully (over the
local system account, automatic startup) , this service uses a DCOM
object, and it works fine as it's supossed to.

BUT

over windows 2k3 server (enterprise edition, standard as well), the
service management console prompts the 1053 error: "The service did
not respond to the start in a timely fashion" and its status from this
time on is "starting". The only way i found to run this service is
using "run application where the data is located" over the "luching
user" account, i set this in the components services management
console (computers->my computer-> DCOM Config -> my dcom object) but i
really need to run this service over the system account.

any suggestions?

thanks in advance.
