which browser are you using? Firefox, for instance doesn't pass NT
credentials to any domain by default. You'll have to enable it:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris
AFAIK there are issues with firewalls and NTLM authentication. Is there such
a firewall between you and your server?
As another option, you may log the traffic between you and the server using
Ethereal/Wireshark and Microsoft Fiddler, a simple proxy for IE and other
browsers.
