Certificate Authority Newbie Installation query

I've just setup a CA on a win 2003 exchange server.
I have another win 2003 server which is the DC.

I installed the CA in order to use SSL on that server for Outlook Web
Access.

The DC is producing this error:

"Automatic certificate enrollment for local system failed to enrol for
one Domain Controller Certificate...... Access is denied."

Did I forget to do something?
I haven't setup a policy in the gpo, as it was not needed for owa to
function.
Do I need to?

Thanks for helping out.

Graeme
