Re: creat a domain trust between Windows 2000 server, it show error message:"PRC server is unavailable"

What exactly are you trying to do? Set up a trust between two domains? What
type of domains? Name resolution problems for either DNS or netbios over
tcp/ip or restricted network access are common problems of the type of
errors you see. Try pinging the domain controller in the other domain by IP
address and name as both need to work for the trust to be established. For
Windows 2000/2003 domains you want to make sure that DNS is configured
correctly. Usually that works by having domain controllers in the other
domain contain secondary DNS zone for the domain it wants to create a trust
with or for Windows 2003 use conditional forwarding or a stub zone for DNS
and also have the wins servers in each domain be replication partners with
the other domain. The link below may help. --- Steve
