do you mean ftp banner or the welcome msgs?

Hi,

We have w2003. After creating an ftp site i have changed the messages
following the path properties->messages. although the banner message
has changed the welcome message remain unchanged. How can I overcome
that problem? is it the only way to modify the dll in which the message
resides hardcoded. this was the only way before w2003 but it must have
been changed after w2003.
