access is determined by both share and NTFS permissions. The most
restrictive of the 2 applies. Check the NTFS permissions.

I've begun having problems assigning permissions on my Server 2003
network. I'll add a user in the Security tab for a share and give then
full control to it but they still can't access it. I've also tried going
to the Advanced propetries section and checking "Replace permission
entries on all child objects..." but that doesn;t seem to help. I don't
know if something is going haywire as the number of files/folders grow in
these shares or what? Where should I start toubleshooting this?
