I have not used NT4.0 in ages. If you mean Windows 2000/2003 then Domain
Security Policy account policy will propagated to domain computers as
effective local account policy unless you have an OU with a GPO that has
account policy defined as different than Domain Security Policy. Since you
mention System Policy Editor if you do mean NT4.0 I don't know the answer to
the question but testing should find the answer in short order. You can use
the "net accounts" command [other than password complexity] to try and
configure account policy for the local computer and the net accounts will
show what it is currently. The RK tool passprop can be used to configure
password complexity. --- Steve
