Date: Tue, 25 Oct 2005 22:23:15 -0700('UTF-8' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) I can cite no less than 10 currently published texts, 3 Certification classes (or the published self-study books - separate from the 10 previously noted) and ~20 papers on the Microsoft Technet and Windows Server System site that document this very set of principles.
I'm baffled as to how, with the wealth of information available today, it can be said that the underlying AuthN and SMB processes are "poorly documented". 5 years ago - I'd agree to some degree. Today, I strongly challenge the statement.
