There's no SharePoint virtual server or website per se. By default,
SharePoint Services installation dumps all the files in the "Default Web
Site" virtual server.
I solved the "https" issue by unchecking "Require secure channel (SSL)" on
non-Exchange Server folders in IIS.
Now, let me ask another question. When I accessed SharePoint via "https", I
got a Security Alert saying:
...
(OK check mark) The security certificate is from a trusted certifying
authority.
(OK check mark) The security certificate date is valid.
(warning exclamation mark) The name on the security certificate is invalid
or does not match the name of the site.
What does the warning mean? How do I rectify it?
