Just installed a 3 tier PKI - verified chain of trust thru all certs and
everything is working well except for 2 errors I began to get on a domain
controller. They are as follows:
Error #1
Event Source: AutoEnrollment
Event ID: 13
Description: Automatic Certificate enrollment for local system failed to
enroll for one Domain Controller certificate (0x800706ba). The RPC server is
unavailable.

Error #2
Event Source: DCOM
Event ID: 10009
Description: DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer "Issuing CA"
using any of the configured protocols.

Most of what I looked up on these errors were in relationship to Exchange
which we do not have and have never used. I did find a reference to the
protocols set in the component services - I checked the domain controller and
the Issuing CA and in "default protocols" they are both set to
"Connection-oriented TCP/IP"
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
