    I don't know of an inexpensive package though there may be one. In my
    opinion if you are very careful, the only user of that computer, use unique
    passwords on it, do not have shares that can be written to if not necessary,
    keep current with critical security updates, do not use the server for web
    browsing, reading email, and are using only clean software, etc you can
    greatly minimize the risk of an infection particularly if your other
    computers on the network are well protected or the server is isolated. Any
    questionable files/software could be scanned on another computer of yours
    also. I have a couple of test servers in my home network and do not have
    antivirus installed on them for the reason you describe and I have never had
    a problem and they are connected to the network that other family users use.
    Of course the network is behind a firewall. --- Steve
