I always use a good password policy, never had the need to rename the
administrator account, not have I ever had to rename the administrators
group.
It's built in... Just don't use it and keep dirty hands out of it.
For example: my name is bob and I am an administrator... Are you going to
rename my account name from time to time? One day call it bob the next call
it mike, then Tom!
It's a waste of time to do so, and is pointless. What secures an account
isn't the name of the account it's the password behind the account. Use a
password that is at minimum of 8 characters in length and require upper and
lower characters along with numbered values. This is the best way to secure
things. Set group policy to lock out the account after so many wrong
attempts.
FYI: my password is 18 characters in length. If someone cracks it, they
deserve the access they just gained.
