Make sure that the computer is configured correctly for dns in that it
points to ONLY to Active Directory domain controllers running dns for the
domain and that it can ping those domain controllers by IP address and fully
qualified domain name as in dc1.mydomain.com. Verify that it is in synch
with the time of the domain controllers [check
time/month/day/timezone/year/AM&PM] and look in the system and application
log for any errors that may give a clue. You can also use nslookup to verify
that it can contact it's dns server and resolve domain names. Nslookup will
give an error message if you do not have reverse lookup zone configured for
your domain but it still should display the dns server and be able to
resolve names. Also try running the support tool netdiag on that computer
and look for any pertinent problems such as dc discovery, dns, kerberos, and
trust/secure channel. --- Steve
