If you like pptp VPN then that is fine. If possible configure your
router/firewall to only accept connections from the public IP address that
you use though that will be difficult if you do not have a static IP or you
roam. Also make sure that only user accounts that you want to access via
pptp are enabled to allow the use of dial up connections in their account
properties and consider disabling the administrator account from having that
ability as it would be the top target of unauthorized logon attempts. ---
