I mainly support Exchange 2000, but one of my side jobs in the school
district where I work is supporting the Special Education Department. This
is the issue I have before me. There is a director and assistant director of
special education. They are going to share a folder called docs, and within
docs will be subfolders (6), one for each special ed examiner. The examiners
will drop the document in appropriate sub-folder. Only the director,
assistant director and the teacher will access to each folder. What I want
to do is set up auditing so that both the director and assistant director
know when each folder has been accessed. Only one is required to view the
documents in question, so I would like a notification to go to both. I know
(it has been a while since I have done it) that auditing writes to the Event
Viewer. Is there a way to set it up to notify both the director and
assistant director? Do I need a third party package? Thanks in
advance. -Drew
