How many domains/forests are involved and what dc's are where?? Trusts are
created between domains, not domain controllers. You need to make sure that
you have proper dns name resolution and probably netbios name resolution in
the type of trusts you mention. Wins servers can be configured as
replication partners with wins servers in then other domains being sure that
domain controllers are also wins clients and for dns, Windows 2003 domain
can use conditional forwarding to the other domains and the W2K domain
controllers can contain secondary dns zones for the other domains. It would
also be helpful to run the netdiag and dcdiag support tools on the domain
controllers involved to check for any pertinent problems along with checking
Event Viewer. --- Steve
