Hi,
I have a Windows 2000 domain controller that needs (temporarily) to be the
trusting domain for a Windows 2003 and a Windows 2000 domain controller
which are trusted domain. The trust relation between the two Windows 2000
servers was no problem, but the Windows 2003 server doesn't connect. The two
Windows 2000 servers are in the same IP-range, but the Windows 2003 server
is in another range route over a 2.3Mbit SDSL WAN VPN. I can connect to
shares on the Windows 2003 server and ping it by NetBIOS name. This might be
due to the WINS push/pull configuration.
Has this problem something to do with security in the AD so that I have to
upgrade the Windows 2000 AD to Windows 2003 compatible AD?
Jeroen
