Time to backup and restore depends on the speed of hard drives. On SCSI hard
drives it would probably take up to 5 hours (complete process of backup and
restore)...
My advice is to do few practice runs with small amount of data (e.g. 100
MB). Make custom permission setting and backup the data. Restore it to
another computer and check permissions settings.
